Kailee's become a big sister with the addition of her little brother Connor Mathew McMahon!
Connor was born at 10:06 am Wednesday, December 16th at a whopping 5lbs 10.3 oz! He decided to make an early arrival 10 days early.
Mommy wasn't feeling so good the day before and actually got pretty sick that night. So when I felt contractions the next day I just assumed it was due to me not feeling well. Well, I was pretty wrong! Ry dropped Kailee off at our friends/her daycare that morning and I was having pretty mild contractions that were 7-10 minutes apart. I figured they'd dissappear since I had been having some contractions a few days prior.
So 25 minutes later, Ry was at work and I was getting ready to log off work just to relax and my water broke! I called Ryan right away and he rushed home from work. He tells me he was just about to poor some coffee when he saw that I was calling and he started running before answering the phone! :)
We got to the hospital at 8:30 and by the time they checked me out I was already 6 cm dilated! As soon as they checked me that's when the contractions got out of hand and I was begging for an epidural! Fortunately since I was so far along they rushed it along and I got it in time.
As soon as the epidural was in the doctor arrived and I started pushing. An hour and a half later little Connor Mathew arrived! Of course it took us a day to figure out his name but at least he's no longer called 'TBD'!
He's a perfect angel! So far he sleeps and eats like a champ. It helps this time we know what to expect but he really is a good baby and Kailee is a great big sister. She loves being our little helper and giving her brother kisses.
And here are some pics!
Getting weighed and measured:
Mommy holding Connor for the first time
Daddy and his little boy
Getting "foot" printed. Hopefully he'll never have to get the fingers printed for any reason.

Nina, these pictures are so gorgeous. Two great adorable babies. Feel like hugging them through this computer screen. Glad to hear that Connor is eating and sleeping well. You and Ryan make great parents. Enjoy your precious baby and Kailee!!!
I am so excited you updated the blog, I thought for sure it would never be updated again and I was pleasantly surprised when I just 'checked to see'. Hope all is well and you are all adjusting well. Give me a call when you get some extra time...I know it will be few and far inbetween. A package will be coming anyday to you...so don't go out and buy a ton of stuff...Yet!
Dear Ryan, Nina, Kailee, welcome Connor Mathew! What a wonderful Christmas gift. He truly is a blessing from above. Wishing you all the best with your expanded family. Can't wait to see you, hopefully soon. Love, Aunt Kathy
Such great pictures! Kailee and Connor rock! Way to go McMahons!
