Just got back from her 6 month checkup and we have a giant on our hands. Along with the many rolls, she weighs 17.5 lbs and is a little over 26 inches!
We finally got to make a trip home and have her baptised. She even got to meet most of her family members on daddy's side.
We've got a wild child on our hands! I'm sure I said it last time, but I'll say it again. It's amazing to see what new thing she learns each day. She's finally learned to roll from front to back and vice versa instead of just getting stuck on her stomach. Those weren't such fun times having her cry each time she got stuck. She's also sitting up on her own for long periods of time, and I think she's really wanting to start crawling. If sticking your bum up in the air is a sign she's close! I think we even saw a little bit of a backward scoot a few times. That's our daughter, always doing things a bit backward. She's great at turning in circles though! What a blabbermouth. You can't shut her up these days. She's started on the dada's, but they go on and on, and I don't think she's quite got the correlation between those words and daddy yet, but we'll see!
Well, like mother, like daughter. I'll stop blabbing and start posting pics and video! (sorry, there's lots of them!)
