Where the heck do they come up with these size comparisons? I'll never figure it out.
Sooo..I'm STILL only 1 cm dilated. After the contractions/cramps I was having this week I was so sure there would be a huge amount of progress. I can't be too disappointed though, there was a bit of difference from my last appointment. Now instead of 75% effaced I am now 80%. Also the baby dropped from -2 station to -1 station.
-5 is the the highest up and as the baby moves down it goes from -5, -4, etc to +4 which ultimately is when the baby arrives. I think I've got that right. I could be be making this up :)
The baby's heart rate was in the 120's this week. That has me a bit worried although heart rates between 120-160 are normal. The heartrate has just been consistent at 140 throughout the pregancy it's weird to hear something so different. But the baby was probably sleeping so I'm not going to become too paranoid. At least that's what I'll tell you!
Other than that, not much else is new! Not going to take pictures this week as my weight hasn't changed at all, and I'm really just too lazy to pull out the camera and take them!
I have another appointment next Wednesday, I'll let you all know what the news is then. Thanks for reading!

Nina, hope you are doing OK. I was waiting to read your update to know what is happending with you. You are in my thoughts and prayers for a safe delivery and a healthy baby. Two more weeks and the baby will be with you both. Wish you all the best with the delivery. Hang in there for 2 more weeks. Take care and I love you.
Nina, thanks so much for keeping us updated on your progres and sharing your pregnancy with us. I always look forward to the pictures because you just look so darn cute. So I guess it won't be long now. I just want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you guy and we are anxiously awaiting the birth of your child. Will it be boy or will it be a litte girl that will be grandpa's litte princess. Good luck these next weeks that are left. You Ryan and the baby are on our minds every day

Hi Ryan and Nina,
Thanks for the update. I look forward to becoming a great aunt again. Altough I know I have always been a great aunt. I am very excited for you and Ryan. I won't tell you to not be paranoid I have been there myself and I live for making myself crazy, just ask Dan, but I know that you, Ryan and the baby will be fine. I'll be happy whether its a boy or girl but I am looking forward to buying some cute girl clothes.
